Soup n Taco Downtown Fredericksburg! Great Experience!

I just had lunch the other day at the Soup N Taco Restaurant Downtown on Caroline Street! I ordered the Black Bean Soup and the Tilapia Fish Tacos and they were delicious! If you are in the mood for good Authentic Mexican food this is a great place to visit! The service was very good and the Salsa they bring out before the meal was Wonderful!  We were seated next to a couple who has been eating there at least once a week for 2 years and they could not say enough good things! Visit their website at: www.soupntaco.com for a menu and hours!

Snow Covered Homes in Historic Fredericksburg!

I thought I would drive around today and view the Beautiful Snowy Streets and Homes Downtown since this may be our last snow before Spring! I was not disappointed! The streets were clear and the homes and trees were still covered with the thick snow! I took some pictures for you to enjoy and will make this a favorite thing to do when it snows...... but I can definitely wait until next year! Ready for Spring!

Experience Hyperium Expresso in Downtown Fredericksburg!

When I walked in the door at the Hyperion Expresso in Downtown Fredericksburg I was amazed by all the choices! Everything a coffee lover could want and located on the corner of William and Princess Anne Streets.  You will have your choice of 4 different sizes from 8-20 ounces and numerous varieties of fresh ground coffee beans from around the world! The coffee is delivered weekly and ground daily for freshness!  They also carry the Monin Natural Syrups in a variety of flavors in Sugar Free or Regular.  I chose a Full Bodied Coffee from Kenya and had my Skinny Latte with the Monin Vanilla Syrup and it was delicious!  A must visit if you are in Fredericksburg!! Other drinks availble!  They also have areas to sit  (wifi available) to work or relax!

The Canal Path/Heritage Trail Fredericksburg

I have really enjoyed Walking along the Canal Path! Below is a link for the 3.1 Mile Trail which is in the process of being extended! There are People Walking, Running, Riding Bikes and Walking their Dogs! I have to remind myself not to stop and pet all the doggies so I can get my exercise!!  If you would like to stray off the path you can walk along some of the tree lined streets and view the Beautiful Homes in Downtown Fredericksburg ... this of course being a Realtor is my favorite thing to do!!

Rappahannock Canal Walk
The Rappahannock Canal Walk follows the old towpath along the disused canal just northwest of downtown Fredericksburg. The path follows a winding course past old suburban back yards and through a wooded corridor with a rural feel. At the east end of the trail is the town's main street (US 1/17/Princess Anne Street), which take you into the historical downtown. The western end of the trail passes by the hospital, where you can link to the Mary Washington Hospital Trail.

Let's Experience Fredericksburg Virginia Together!

Hello and Welcome to my Blog on all the Wonderful Things the City of Fredericksburg, Virginia has to offer! I have lived in Downtown Fredericksburg or as it is commonly called "The Burg" for about 8 months now and have loved it!!  Before I moved here I would drive around or through maybe stop occasionally to eat, shop or visit Family, but never really "Experienced Fredericksburg"  From the walks on the Canal Path, the many locally owned Restaurants and Shops, the Homes with their Beautiful Architecture, and the Civil War History this City is an AMAZING PLACE TO LIVE! After living in Maryland for most of my life and seeing most of my Family relocate here, I decided to take a Leap of Faith and Relocate myself! I have not had one single regret! After living in one area most of my life and making the move, I know what it is like to feel a little displaced....but only at first! I warmed up very quickly to the area and all its amenities and can't imagine living anywhere else! OK so enough of why I'm here!! I started this blog so I can share my experiences with any New and Old Comers to the Area and hopefully you will come to love Fredericksburg as much as I do!!  And please if you have any suggestions for places you have visited I would love to hear about them and if you have a link please share!
